Who We Are

KuzmichAI is a personal AI assistant accessible via Telegram at @KuzmichAIBot.

What Data We Collect and Why

Data You Provide Directly

• Telegram user ID and chat ID to identify you and deliver messages.
• Name and city for personalized greetings and correct timezone for reminders.
• Date of birth, optional, used only for birthday countdown and weekly horoscope.
• Notes, reminders, lists and other content you create to provide the service.
• Voice messages are sent to OpenAI Whisper API for transcription. Audio is not stored by KuzmichAI after transcription.

Google Account Data

Only when you connect via the /google command, KuzmichAI may access your Google data:

• Google Calendar: event titles, dates, times and locations — to display upcoming events and manage reminders at your request.
• Google Contacts (read-only): contact names and dates of birth — to show birthday reminders from your contacts.

We request these OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — read, create, edit and delete calendar events at your request.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly — list your calendars to find a dedicated birthday calendar, if one exists.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts.readonly — read saved contact names and birthdays to show birthday reminders.

Calendar event content is not stored permanently. It is fetched on demand and used only to answer your question or create a reminder. To keep reminders synchronized, KuzmichAI stores the Google Calendar event ID associated with each synchronized reminder. This identifier is deleted when the reminder or your account data is deleted, or when you disconnect Google Calendar.

Google OAuth tokens are stored in our database and used only to make authorized API requests on your behalf.

Usage Data

Conversation history: the last 20 messages are kept in active context to enable natural dialogue; older messages are compressed into a summary. Compressed conversation summaries are stored long-term so KuzmichAI can remember topics discussed in past conversations.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI assistant functionality.
• To send scheduled notifications such as weather, weekly forecasts, reminders and birthdays.
• To personalize responses using your saved profile.
• We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to any third party.

Data Processors

• OpenAI - messages and voice audio for AI processing and transcription.
• Telegram - message delivery via Telegram platform.
• Google - calendar and contacts data via Google APIs (Calendar API, People API).
• Open-Meteo - city coordinates only.
• Brave Search - search queries for web search.
• Hostinger - hosting infrastructure in the United States.

Google API Data Use

KuzmichAI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We use Google Calendar data only to provide features explicitly requested by you.
• We do not use Google data to serve advertising.
• We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless required by law or with your explicit permission for debugging.

Data Retention

• Profile data, notes and reminders are kept until you delete them or request account deletion.
• Recent conversation messages are retained as a rolling window of the most recent 20 messages.
• Conversation summaries are kept until you request account deletion.
• Google OAuth tokens are kept until you disconnect via /google disconnect.
• Voice message audio is not retained after transcription.

Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS using TLS encryption. Access to the server and database is restricted to the service operator.

Your Rights

• View saved data by asking KuzmichAI: "what do you know about me?"
• Delete a reminder or note by asking KuzmichAI to delete it.
• Delete all your data with the /reset command in Telegram.
• Disconnect Google Calendar with /google disconnect.
• Request complete account deletion by emailing beketovka.st@gmail.com. Response within 30 days.

For users in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, port, restrict or object to processing of your data. Legal basis for core features: performance of a contract. Legal basis for optional features such as birthday and horoscope: consent, withdrawable at any time.

International Data Transfers

KuzmichAI is operated from the United States. If located outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States and countries where our providers operate. Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your country.

Children

KuzmichAI is not directed at children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law.

Changes

We will notify users of significant changes via Telegram.
